Healthy Essentials Clinic 5 Year Anniversary
We’re turning 5! And we’d like to celebrate with you, our community, Saturday June 1st at Swalwell Park. Fun for the whole family with activities for the kids, family mat pilates/yoga, guest speakers and so much more!
As we mark the 5th anniversary of Healthy Essentials Clinic (HEC), we reflect on a remarkable journey dedicated to holistic health and community well-being. Founded by Christina Camilleri, HEC is a BC Association Community Health Centre and a thriving Social Enterprise. Christina’s long-term vision has always been to establish a Family Centred Holistic Outpatient facility that complements existing healthcare services, bridging gaps in outpatient treatment.
Our Mission and Vision
At HEC, our goal is simple yet profound: to offer timely access to mild to moderate mental health and healthcare services, ultimately preventing chronic disease. By addressing these needs promptly, we aim to enhance overall health outcomes and foster a healthier community.
What Sets Us Apart: The Social Enterprise Model
A Social Enterprise, such as HEC, is driven by a mission to provide goods and services while achieving positive cultural, social, or environmental impacts. Our model is deeply rooted in our organizational values, meeting community needs, focusing on healthcare outcomes, and providing funding for those in need.
Returning to the Roots of Healthcare
HEC embodies the essence of what hospitals traditionally stood for—a place of hospitality and restoration. We are a sanctuary where the wounded, hurt, broken, and injured can find healing. Our community is built on the principle of people helping people, ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors receives the care and support they need.
Join Us in Celebrating
As we celebrate this milestone, we are grateful for the support of our community, patients, and partners. Together, we have created a space where holistic healthcare thrives, and lives are transformed. Here’s to many more years of making a difference, one patient at a time.
Thank you for being a part of our journey.
